We have never been crazy about the cats. We had and still have the dogs at home. We have suddenly fallen in love with cats. Forever!
It happened that day when we were walking through Old Arbat street and stopped by to a zoo-shop. We glanced over the foods and collars and decided to leave. But suddenly we saw a strange animal. It was an elegant and graceful cat with big ears and strange coat’s color. It was a kitten of Cornish Rex!
We were talking about the kitten for the all our way back home. We fall in love with him! Next way we studied all the web-sites and magazines about Cornish Rexes
and got a lot of useful information about the breed. It turned out, that Cornish Rex is an England breed of cats, and the wavy coat is an effect of mutation.
We also found out that the cats of this breed have a very nice personality. They are inquisitive, affectionate, love to take part in the family’s life and even can
wag the tail like the dogs!
So it was the beginning...
- Lets buy a kitten!
- No, no cats. How! We have a dog!
Of course, it could not last a long time. As we were in love with the breed. And the purchasing of the kitten was unplanned.
That time I cooperated with “Cat & Dog” magazine. One day the chief editor and I made a meeting at the cat’s show. She knew that I liked the Cornish Rexes and said to me that Cornish Rex kittens are sold here on the show. “So take the money, go and buy” – she said! We didn’t take money as decided just take a look. So we stopped by near the cage with the kittens and understood that we should buy!
There were three kittens in the cage: 2 three-color bright girls and white & red boy. The kittens were very small, but their ears were too big. They were very funny. As we decided to buy a girl we paid more attention to them. We also took a look to the other kittens on the show, buy they all were monotone and didn’t impress us. The next day we became the owners of one of the bright girls.
So two-month charming girl settled with us. Her name was UNA HOT HOLIDAY or just USYA. We registered her with our Club and decided to show her, as she was very promising. All the more I had some experience in showing the cats. And we liked it. So it was the beginning!
Our cattery was registered in 2004 with WCF system through RosKosh Club. The breeder is Anna Evdokimova.
The cattery’s specialization is the breeding of Cornish Rexes of American type.
In 2004 our super star, a boy YOU SHOW MAN MAGIC STAR was born.
In 2005 we decided to sterilize our UNA HOT HOLIDAY.
UNA presented us wonderful kittens with nice personality and type. And also she presented us a super “Y” litter (YOU SHOWMAN & UKOS who became the WCF World Winner). That year we purchased EUROPA HOT HOLIDAY.
We worked hardly on setting YOU SHOWMAN’s type and on improving the quality of coat. YOU SHOWMAN showed himself as an excelled stud-cat, all his kittens followed his type. In 2005 two girls sired by YOU SHOWMAN and ESENIA WAYWE LYNS were left in the cattery – UMA MAGIC STAR & URSULA MAGIC STAR.
In 2007 we got a litter sired by SHOWMAN MAGIC STAR and UMA MAGIC STAR. By this litter we checked the cattery type & lines if the lines had any defects. The litter was healthy and of excellent quality. MELISSA MAGIC STAR was left at the cattle.
In 2007 YOU SHOWMAN was castrated. He left a lot of beautiful kittens all over the Russia. And at the same year we purchased a cat in TIDJI cattery. A boy with American blood lines TIDJI BLUE SKY OF MAGIC STAR.
Thanks to Natasha Fomina for this wonderful boy. We place a lot of hopes on him. In 2008 a girl RAXY LADA FUJI COLOR OF MAGIC STAR was left in the cattery. Her mom is from American cattery SILKWONDERS, sire is HUGO BOSS. We have plans to purchase a cat in European cattery.
We get nice litters. Our cats have excellent personality. We feed all our cats with super premium cat-food. All our cats are timely vaccinated. We guarantee the support to all the owners of our kittens. We also will support the cats of our breeding in their show carrier and breeding program.
